Test Assist ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy specifically relates to the Test Assist application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

2. Data Collection

We minimize data collection and prioritize your privacy.

The App stores your test data, history, and statistics locally on your device. Documents uploaded for AI processing are processed in real-time and not permanently stored on our servers.

3. Information We Collect

  • Name: Collected during onboarding to personalize your experience.
  • Documents: Files you upload are processed to generate questions but not permanently stored.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous analytics about app usage to improve our service.
  • Purchase Information: Handled by Apple App Store/Google Play Store and RevenueCat.
  • Feedback: If you answer an optional in-app question or survey, we collect your answers and any free text you choose to write. This is anonymous — it is not linked to your name, account, or email, and we cannot reply to it. Every question is optional and skippable. Please do not include personal details in free-text answers.
  • Anonymous identifier: A random per-installation identifier used to apply survey frequency limits and to avoid asking you the same question twice. It is not linked to your identity and is removed when you uninstall the App.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (Google) for app infrastructure, AI processing, and storing anonymous feedback responses, RevenueCat for subscription management, and Amplitude for anonymous analytics. Each service has their own privacy policy.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, delete, or export your data, opt-out of analytics, and cancel your subscription at any time.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Test Assist ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Test Assist is an AI-powered educational application that helps users create study materials and practice tests from uploaded documents or custom topics. The App offers both free and premium subscription features.

3. Subscription Terms

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

  • Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings (App Store or Google Play). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with advance notice.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.

4. User Responsibilities

By using Test Assist, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful, educational purposes
  • Not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
  • Not use the App to generate harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Test Assist and protected by intellectual property laws. Content you create using the App remains your property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or that AI-generated questions will be 100% accurate. Test Assist is a study aid tool; we recommend verifying important information from authoritative sources.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Test Assist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
